the 'new' economy
I've recently become a poverty-driven neo-hippy. Is that an accomplishment? I planted a vegetable garden in my backyard, built a chicken-tractor, and purchased cute baby fluffball chickens. I even compost now. I sicken myself with the lengths I've gone to, but I'm just that poor now.

did you get your taxes done yet?

Taxes done. I make too much for the Eaned Income Tax Credit and I don't have kids (I know, you're shocked), so I get about $150.

Did you do your own taxes or did you get them done? Just curious...I may need to re-eval my reading....

par for the course
Did my own (TurboTax), but that is about what I got last year as well, and I had them done last year.

Oh, and that should read 'got a chicken tractor' not built one. Like I could have built one by myself. Found it for $20 on craigslist. I'd never played there before. Everything else I was looking at was for over $100. I couldn't have bought the supplies to build one for $20.

I want chicken updates! Chad won't let me have any and I want to know how much you hate them over time
